Billy Don Shaw, 81, passed away January 27, 2022 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born September 22, 1940 in Cleburne, Texas to John Thomas Shaw and Nancy Elizabeth (Taylor) Shaw.
The youngest of ten children, Billy Don was spoiled by his mother and siblings, Marie , Geneva, and Raymond. He grew up in Keene, Texas and was well known around town for his love of cars and the need for speed.
He dated the love of his life, Lucille Cromwell (Shaw), for fourteen years before finally getting married on April 18, 1970 in Fort Worth. They had a very long and loving marriage. They shared a love of Burmese cats, raising three of their own, Sir Don, Lady and Brandon. They were very proud parents when their Lady won a National Title for Best in Show! They also enjoyed road trips, visiting family and car shows.
One of Billy Don's prized possessions was his cherry red vintage Corvette. It was his baby and he always made sure it was in spotless condition.
Billy Don worked as a diesel mechanic for over fifty years before finally retiring at the age of 79.
He is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Thomas Shaw, loving wife, Lucille Shaw, and siblings, Ruby, Ira Lee, James, Luetta, Clifford, Marie, Carl, Raymond and Geneva.

Service for Billy Don Shaw will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 12, 2022 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home.
