Services for Billy E Tillery, 88, of Covington will be conducted at 10am on Friday, Jan 4, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson CLeburne Chapel and visitation will be Thursday Jan 3,2019 at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas. Minister Don Ahrens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Shane Tillery, Josh Tillery, Matt Tillery, Kylon Johnson, Curtis Ahrens, Jason Temple and Blair Temple. Billy passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Covington. He was born October 25, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas to Alonzo & Eunice Tillery. Billy married the love of his life, Mary Jo, on April 1,1950 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Billy was retired aeronautical foreman at LTV in Grand Prairie, Texas and was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Cleburne, Texas.
Billy E. Tillery is survived by his three sons, Sam Tillery of Covington, John Tillery and wife Pamela of Burnett, Texas and Mark Tillery and wife Laura of Burnett, Texas. Six Grandchildren, Shane Tillery of Brownwood, TX. Melanie Ahrens and husband Curtis of Arlington,TX. Ashley Talley of Arlington,TX. Josh Tillery and wife Marla of Hutto,TX. Matt Tillery and wife Annette of Brownwood, TX. Rachel Putman and husband Ricky of Poquoson, VA. Ten great-grandchildren, Kylon, Taylor, Trinity, Shane Jr, Tayler, Chloe, Clayton, Katelyn, Raevyn and Kaden.
