Billy Vaughan

Mr. Vaughan passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 in Godley. He was born in Cleburne, Texas, February 22, 1981 to William Ray and Tammy Pannell Vaughan, Sr.

Mr. Vaughan was a musician. He played the guitar and was a singer-songwriter. He was well known for his awesome guitar playing. He loved fishing and wanted everyone to experience it with him. Billy Ray Vaughan, Jr. is survived by his parents, Billy and Tammy Vaughan, of Godley; sister, Amanda Ponce and husband, Joe, of Godley and one of the joys of his life, nephew, Lucas Ponce; grandparents, Bobby and Sue Vaughan and Pat and Tim Pannell also of Godley; great-grandmother, Hazel James, of Burleson, several aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jackie Vaughan.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 6-8 P.M..

Billy Ray Vaughan, Jr. leaves this world with those who love him mourning, but he leaves this world a better place. "Somewhere in Heaven his music plays on"
