Billy Wesson

Service for Billy John Wesson, 85, of Fort Worth, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 28, 2019 at the graveside in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Charles Payne and Mr. Evan Rose will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

Mr. Wesson was born in Itasca to John Frederick and Vera Mae (Keesee) Wesson on January 11, 1934. He married Sonia Portillo January 11, 2018.

Bill spent his adult life in construction, building custom homes, and many other aspects
of the industry. He spent the last several years working security at WinStar Casino;
a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Bill never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his wife Sonia ; his children Jerry Williams and wife Lavada, Heidy Fenstermaker and husband Kyle, and Christine Prado and husband Jesse; grandchildren Ricky Alford, Chris Alford, Chad Bailey, Stephanie Julian and husband Jared, Kat Lively and husband Matt, Chelsea Arnold, Jacob Pena, David Prado, and Adalyn Fenstermaker; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister Margie Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patsy Wesson, daughter Drenda Beckman, and brother Garland “Cotton” Wesson.
