Service for Billy Joe Williams, 83, of Joshua will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 8, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Carl Herring will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Baskett, Justin Thornton, Rusty Williams, Toby Williams, Jesse Williams, Billy Wayne Williams, Wesley Johnston and Cody Crabtree. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at the funeral home.

Billy Joe Williams passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 in Joshua. He was born June 30, 1931 in Granbury to John L. and Gladys Alpha Oliver Williams. He married JoAnn Timmons on June 10, 1950 in Cleburne.

Mr. Williams worked in road construction until retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, JoAnn Williams of Joshua; sons, Danny Williams and wife Elaine of Burleson, Lenny Williams of Haltom City, and Andy Williams and wife Donna of Joshua; grandchildren, Toby Williams of Belton, Justin Thornton of Ft. Worth, Brittney Shields of Burleson, and Rusty Williams of Joshua; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Christine Baskett of Cleburne and Jimmie Crabtree of Arlington. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Faine Williams and G.C. Williams; and a sister, Shirley Wylie.
