Service for Bob Hays, 76, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the Westhill Church of Christ. Mr. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Barrett Thompson, Wayne Birchfield, Charles Anderson, Dakota Easdon, Russell Crook and David Lloyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Schultz Hadley, Charles Head, Norman Bales, Darryl Rutledge, Jim Easdon, Matthew Hays and Warren Wright. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Hays passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born Nov. 20, 1934 in Clyde to Marion Harvey and Mary Allene Webb Hays. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Hays married Pamala Sue Wrinkle on March 18, 1960 in El Paso. He attended Abilene Christian University. Mr. Hays was a faithful member and worker at the Westhill Church Of Christ and volunteered at the Bridge Benevolence Center.
Mr. Hays is survived by his wife of 51 Years, Pamala Hays of Grandview; two sons, Robert Leslie Hays II of Capitola, Cal. and Terry Hays of Destin, Florida; daughter, Kimberly Easdon and husband Brent of Cleburne; brother, Keelon Hays and wife Barbara of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Peggy Norris of Midland and Ann Prather of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Dakota and Sierra Easdon and Matthew Hays and a number of nieces and nephews.
