Graveside for Larry Bob Kimberlin, 84, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2024, in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.

 Bob passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, He was born September 18, 1939, to A.D. and Lucille Patton Wilburn. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force in 1959. Bob worked in the oil and gas industry for 50 years, finishing his career as a Purchasing and Logistics Specialist for Exxon Mobil offshore. Bob traveled all over the world with his job. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a proud descendant of Elizabeth Patton wife of Davy Crockett. A true son of Texas…

 Bob is survived by his sons, Kevin Kimberlin, Michael Baker; grandchildren, Audrey James, Ciara Kimberlin, Khale Kimberlin, Brett Michael Kimberlin, Zane Baker, twins, Cody and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Harper James and Landrie James; cousins, Kay Parks and Elaine Bledsoe and numerous nieces or nephews.

 Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Peggie Cooper Kimberlin; his parents; son, Robert Karl Kimberlin; brother, Wayne “Tubby” Kimberlin; sister, Marcia Strealy and brother, Jay Wilburn.
