Bob Weathington

Visitation for Bob Weathington is scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 22 at 2:00 P.M. in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Williams, John Gaskill, Ali Ismaiel, Omar Ismaiel, Cody Smith, and Aiden Weathington.

Bob, a prominent figure in the lives of many, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, in Rio Vista, Texas. Born on December 12, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Bob led a life full of rich experiences and cherished memories.

Devoted husband to his wife of 27 years, Susi Weathington, Bob was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his children Carolyn S. Weathington, John and Carolyn A. Weathington, Robert Weathington, Jr., Judith and her husband Jack Hart. His legacy continues through his 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 nephews. Bob is also survived by his sister, Edythe Weathington, along with his brother-in-law Victor Lopez, and sisters-in-law, Sally Barrington, and Mary Lopez, and his two cherished dogs, Snowball and Malachi.

A dedicated military man, Bob proudly served in the Air Force, a career that he spoke of with great pride. An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Bob found peace and fulfillment in fishing, hunting, and farming. His adventurous spirit extended to travel, as he embraced journeying to new places, creating lasting memories with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Charles and Eleanor S. Weathington, as well as his sister, Carol Jean Durbin. Their memories will always be a part of Bob's story.

Bob Weathington leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and respect for family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.
