A graveside service for Bobbie Alexander, 95, of Cleburne, will be conducted on Thursday, April 3, 2025, 2:30 PM in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Eddie Freeman will officiate.
Bobbie passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. She was born January 18, 1930, in Cleburne, Texas to Ed and Ellie (Davis) Watson. She lived a full and vibrant life marked by her passionate devotion, culinary talents, and artistic spirit.
A proud retiree from Santa Fe Railroad in 1990, Bobbie dedicated much of her professional life to serving others. Her personal life reflected the same commitment, as she was known for her compassionate nature, deeply caring for her family and friends. Her love and support were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
As a devout follower of Christ and a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church. Bobbie's faith played a central role in her life, providing her with strength and purpose. She was not just a mother and grandmother, but an inspiration to those around her. With a feisty personality that warmed the hearts of many, Bobbie embraced life with enthusiasm and joy.
An amazing baker and cook, she was particularly renowned for her sourdough creations, which brought comfort and delight to countless family gatherings. Beyond the kitchen, Bobbie’s creativity flourished through music and art. She enjoyed playing the piano and guitar, and her love for painting allowed her to express her vibrant spirit in beautiful, tangible ways.
Bobbie is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Linda Alexander, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Misty Loudermilk, Jamie Alexander, Jeremy Alexander, Shane Doggett, Clint Lawshe, and Casey Lawshe, 13 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Bobbie was predeceased by her devoted husband, Maurice Alexander, her son, Larry Alexander, and her daughter, Juliana Blythe.
As we remember Bobbie Alexander, we celebrate a remarkable woman whose impact on her family and community is immeasurable. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those who loved her.
