Bobbie Moore

Funeral services for Bobbie V. Moore, 80, homemaker of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Dr. Joe Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Derden Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Ms. Moore passed away in Cleburne on Saturday, October 23, 2010. She was born to Herbert Vernon and Katie Mae Powell Cooper on January 15, 1930 in Rio Vista. She was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the group that visited nursing homes and other groups throughout the years. She was a sports fan, especially of football (Dallas Cowboys) and wrestling. Bobbie also enjoyed watching old westerns that featured John Wayne. She was family oriented to say the least. She loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. Her happy spirit and loving nature will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson.

Survivors include her children, Jackie W. Moore and his wife, Jeanene, Randy G. Moore and his wife, Becky, A. Denise Morrison and her husband, David, and Tim K. Moore and his wife, Paula; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Powell Cooper and his wife, Marjorie, Jack Cooper, Neal Cooper and his wife, Linda, and Nancy Cooper; 2 nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
