Bobbie Roye

Services for Bobbie James Roye, 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be prior to services from 2:00-3:00 P.M.

Mr. Roye passed away in Fort Worth on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was born to Travis Vance and Vivian Gertrude Campbell Roye on December 8, 1945 in Mineral Wells, Texas. He worked as an electrical contractor for many years. He was of the Baptist faith. Bobbie was a member of the PRCA as a team roper. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Bobbie was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his fiancée, Anna Reston of Cleburne; daughter, Misty Roye; son, James Heath Roye; sisters, Anita Hyatt and her husband, Gordon Hyatt and Sherri Jo Roye of Adamsville; nieces and nephew, Rhonda Belanger and her husband, Shane and their daughter, Heather of Adamsville, Amber Edwards and her husband, Boyce and their daughters, Hannah and Faith of South Carolina, and Travis Blakley and his wife, Patrice and their children, Tate, Harley, and Rankin of Adamsville; extended family, Avis Reston of Cleburne, Bob Alred, James Reston, Jerry and Michael Sexton, all of Albuquerque, NM and a host of other relatives and friends.
