Bobby Gant

Service for Bobby E. Gant, 83, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Bobby E. Gant passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born July 21, 1932 to Ernest and Myrtle Chancelor Gant. He married Patricia Ann Boyd on Dec. 30, 1954 in Ft. Worth.
Mr. Gant served in the United States Navy and worked as a blacksmith for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring with 27 years of service. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Pat Gant; daughter, Karen Perkins and husband Rick; granddaughters, Nikki Miller and husband Matt and Baillee Perkins; and a sister, Juanita Pippin and husband Claude. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth, Sam, Hurshel, Billy, and L.C.; and sister, Patsy.
