Booker Pollard

Services for Booker T. Pollard, Jr., 59, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m.Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. E.D. Ingram will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Hardaway, Edgar Lee Heath, Wayne Fuller, James Fuller, Ronnie Fuller and Charles Washington.

Booker T. Pollard, Jr. passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born September 15, 1948 in Cleburne to Booker T. Sr. and Beatrice Brown Pollard. He married Christine Keaton on September 30, 1989 in Las Vegas, N.V.

Mr. Pollard was a concrete finisher and a member of the American Legion in Cleburne and First Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Pollard, Jr. is survived by his wife, Christine Pollard of Cleburne; parents, Booker T. and Beatrice Pollard, Sr. of Cleburne; sister, Barbara Rochelle of Cleburne, Katherine Carter of El Paso, Rosetta Pollard of Cleburne and Wanda Richard of Ft. Worth; brothers, Charles Pollard of Alvarado and Douglas Pollard of Cleburne; sons, Darryl Richards of Denver, CO and Nathaniel Mickey of Cleburne; daughters, Laurie Hardaway of Ft. Worth, Stephanie Jones of Ft. Worth, Bettima Thorne of Houston and Tiffany Hemphill of Grandview; step-son, John Gilmore of Riverside, CA; step-daugthers, Mauisha Thomas of Riverside, CA and Tanisha Blaze of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren and mother-in-law, Dora Hardin of Riverside, CA.
