Brenda Homan

Graveside service for Brenda Homan will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 19, 2022 in Bethany Rest Cemetery in Alvarado. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Preston Road Church of Christ, 6409 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75205.

Brenda Cheryll Homan died on August 11, 2022 in Alvarado, Texas. She was born on November 17, 1954 in Cleburne, Texas to Henry and Nan Homan.
Brenda grew up in Alvarado, Texas, then lived most of her life in Dallas. Upon moving to Dallas Brenda began her working career at McCommon’s Oil Company. McCommon’s Oil Company became like family to Brenda and her family. Brenda also worked for attorney Kenneth K. Stephens and Baker Botts.

Special thanks to her loving, supportive, and unselfish big brother, Jerry. Also, special thanks to her mom, Melanie and Kali for their support and care for Brenda and her dog, Garbo.

Brenda is preceded in death by her sweet dad, Henry Homan.

Brenda is survived by her mother, Nan Homan of Alvarado; brother Jerry Homan of Alvarado; nieces and nephews, Angie Whitlock and Marshall of Alvarado, Melanie Tell of Burleson, Jeff Evans and Debbie of San Jose, California; great-nephews, Landen Whitlock, Dylen Whitlock and Bailey of Burleson; great-nieces, Kali Tell of Burleson; and her sweet dog, Garbo.
