Brenda Carol Turner

Brenda Carol Turner, 81, of Cleburne, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born September 5, 1942 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Olan Jay and Thelma (Potts) Watson. Brenda married Elmer Dow Turner on December 12, 1969 in Dallas. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Brenda loved music, especially gospel music, as she played multiple instruments. Brenda is no longer in pain and resting in the arms of her mama and Jesus. Brenda will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Elmer Turner; stepchildren and their spouses, Dow Turner of Woodland Park, Colorado, Jenifer Stembridge and Nathan of Godley, Texas, David Turner of Poteau, Oklahoma, Liz Lockwood and Ronnie Caffey of Joshua, Texas; goddaughter, Cynthia Maloney Williams and Jeremy of Justin, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janete Lanier; daughters-in-law, Sandy Turner, and Becky Sue Turner.
