Bruce Mabbitt

Bruce Allen Mabbitt, 69, passed away on November 14th, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born May 15th, 1952, in Frankfort, Indiana to Emerson and Violet Reagan Mabbitt. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. It was his job with Double B Foods that brought him to Texas.

Bruce and his wife, Margaret shared over twenty-five years of love and joy together. Throughout the years they have created nothing but wonderful memories that Margaret will keep with her always. Not only was he a loving husband, but a loving father and grandfather. His love ran deep. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his friends or family. “If Bruce loved you, you could have the world”. His children describe him as an all-around good man, sharing that they can’t even remember ever seeing him angry, but instead always with a smile on his face. Some of Bruce’s hobbies included going to WinStar and attending horse races. He will be remembered by many and missed by even more.

Bruce is survived by his wife Margaret Price; children, Stacey Mabbitt, Jessica and husband Frank Sutton, and Clay and wife Katy Mabbitt; stepchildren, Brian Price, Terry Price, Adrienne Price, and Edward Price; grandchildren, Caitlyn Mabbitt, Tristan Mabbitt, Libby Mabbit, and Rashad Price; brother, Richard, and wife Phyllis Mabbitt, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepson, William Price; granddaughter, Maggie Woods; and brother, Steven Mabbitt.
