Mrs. Bryan W. (Vivian) Bankston passed away Thursday, June 29, 2006 in Dallas. She was born July 29, 1913 in Rio Vista, Texas to Robert L. and Sue M. Kibby Newsom. She married Bryan W. Bankston on August 24, 1936 in Glen Rose.
Mrs. Bankston was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Bryan W. (Vivian) Bankston is survived by her two sons, Douglas Odell Bankston and wife Judith of Dallas and Donald Wayne Bankston and wife Susan of Richmond; four grandchildren, Allison Lay, Jennifer Ledford, Bryan Bankston II and Mark Bankston; three great grandchildren, Chase Lay, Amber Lay and Marshall Ledford. She was preceded in death by her husband Bryan Bankston on April 8, 1979.
