Buddy Barber

Services for Buddy Barber, 46, of Godley, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Terry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Buddy Barber passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born October 24, 1961 in Tarrant County, TX to Marvin Edgar Barber and Mary Ellen (Bates) Barber. He married Donna Kay Barber.

Mr. Barber was a Design Engineer in the Aircraft and Automotive industry and served in the US Navy. He was of the Baptist faith.

Buddy Barber is survived by his wife, Donna Barber of Godley; sons, Chris Griffith of Sachse, Aaron and Austin Barber of Godley; daughter, Sarah Barber of Godley; daughter-in-law, Amy Griffith of Sachse; mother, Mary Barber of Godley; sisters, Marilyn Kelley, wife of Russell Kelley of Glen Rose and Vanita Ellis, wife of Phillip Ellis of Mansfield; brother, Tim Barber of Godley; three grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas and Micah and many friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Barber.
