Burl Carroll

Services for Burl J. Carroll, 66 of Crowley will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Tony Graves will officiate. Burial will be in the Godley Cemetery. Pallbearers will beTexas Ranger-Mark Rhinehart, Mark Troha, Tony Roa, Chris Dyer, Michael Graves and Josh Gunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Camron Carroll, Junior Carroll and Ryan Carroll.
Mr. Carroll passed away Jan. 26, 2007 in Dallas. He was born Dec. 23, 1940 in Cleburne to Burl and Vernice Tidwell Carroll. He married Shelia Hill on Mar. 18, 1958 in Cleburne. Mr. Carroll was a retired Staff Sgt. in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Crowley Community Baptist Church and a member of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Burl J. Carroll is survived by his wife, Shelia Carroll of Crowley; sons, Danny Carroll and wife Mary of Grandview, Jesse Carroll and wife Lorri of Cleburne, Howard Carroll and wife Lynda of Godley and Steve Carroll of Godley; brother, Jimmy Carroll and wife Beth of Granbury; sister, Nancy Hardisty and husband Bob of Crowley; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
