Burl Lawson

Burl E. Lawson went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 11, 2006, in Cleburne. He was born on March 7, 1914 in Hillsboro to James Monroe and Cora Etta Dark Lawson. He married Sarah Vaughan on May 17, 1934, in Covington. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church and was a past Master and member for over 60 years of the Nolands River Masonic Lodge No. 453 of Rio Vista. Mr. Lawson retired from the Santa Fe Railroad where he worked as an electrician for over 34 years.
