Butch Williams

Graveside service for Butch Williams, 75, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Mr. Melvin Harris will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 in Rio Vista. He was born March 4, 1937 in Hill County to R.J., Sr. and Jessie Springfield Williams. He married Linda P. Trussell on Dec. 6, 1968 in Cleburne.

Mr. Williams worked as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Linda Williams; sons, Danny Williams, Mark Williams and wife Sandy, and Scotty Williams and wife Cindy; daughter, Tammy Hutto and husband Scott; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Gorman, Vivian Brown and Vera Carper; brothers, Mutt and J.B.; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Mike Williams and David Williams; brothers, Jack, Ray and Milton; and sister, Lucille Williams.
