Calvin Whitworth

Graveside Services for Calvin Whitworth, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.

Calvin Whitworth passed away Friday, January 2, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born October 14, 1924 in Cleburne to Marion and Edna McKeever Whitworth. He married Mildred B. Green on June 17, 1946 in Ft. Worth.

Mr. Whitworth served in the US Army and was a machinist. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Calvin Whitworth is survived by his wife, Mildred Whitworth of Cleburne; sons, Randy Whitworth and wife, Carol of Holly Lake Ranch and Rickey Whitworth of Irving; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Brown of Koppell; one grandson, Christopher Crocker and wife, Desiree'; two great-grandchildren, Kailyn, age three and Logan, age 4 months and one sister, Nell Buchanan of Burleson. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Crocker in 1994; two brothers and one sister.
