It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Carey "Dale" Joslin, age 59, of Nashville,TN, formerly from Texas. He passed from this life suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on May 25, 2023. He was born June 25, 1963 in Cleburne, TX, the son of Robert Joslin and Dyanne Horton Welch.
Carey was creative from a very young age and had fond memories of building furniture with his Uncle Roger. He was also very technical and enjoyed working with electronics and had such a passion for music. Over the years he developed a love of photography and enjoyed editing as well. Always creating something and turning everyday things into pieces of art.
He also had a way with words and wrote beautifully. No matter another's walk in life, he made a point to be sure even the marginalized knew they were seen. Carey was a private person with a gentle and thoughtful soul. He was so very talented and beyond brilliant. Just a beautiful human being. He will be missed terribly!
Carey is survived by his father, Robert Joslin, and his mother, Dyanne Horton Welch, along with brothers, Robert "Robbie" Joslin, Damon "Chip" Joslin, and his sister, Tiffany Joslin, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, Bessie and Charles Horton, Lillian and Hollis Joslin, step mom, Patricia Joslin, step father, Ben Welch, brother, Hollis Gordon "Sonny" Joslin and nephew, Trey Joslin.
Carey departed from our lives much too soon. He will be dearly missed by so many. He had a great sense of humor and could quickly bring a smile
to your face. He was a very thoughtful and loving man who cared deeply for his family and friends.
