Carl Swan

Services for Carl "Ted" Swan, 92, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 1, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Coleman will officiate. Burial will be in Laurel Land Cemetery,Fort Worth. Pallbearers will be John Kirkwood, Nathan Swan, Boone Staples and Chase Sparks.

Carl "Ted" Swan passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in Fort Worth. She was born September 27, 1915 in Kopperl, TX to Louis E. and Mary Hughes Graff. She married William Thomas Swan in 1942.

Mrs. Swan was a seamstress and a member of Travis Ave. Baptist Church.

Carl Swan is survived by her sons, Thomas C. Swan and wife, Donna of North Richland Hills, Baily R. Swan and wife, Jennie of Ft. Worth and Sammy G. Swan of Ft. Worth; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Swan in 1970.
