Graveside service for Carlos Moore, 95, of Fort Worth will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Arlin Landers officiating.
Carlos passed away at his home surrounded by family on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Fort Worth. He was born November 9, 1925, in Fairfield to Jesse and Mary Christianne Moore. Carlos married Terri Hammond on November 6, 1981, in Fort Worth. Carlos was enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII where he served on the USS Hardhead submarine in the Pacific. He was in public relations and owner/operator of Madison Printing Company in Fort Worth and retired 15 years ago. Carlos was a people person. He’s been described as warm and gregarious. He was bigger than life, “The Great Politician”. You never wondered where you stood with him. Carlos often said cigars are the secret to longevity. He left an everlasting mark on all that were blessed to know him. Carlos will be missed greatly and remembered with love, as those left behind make their steps count in his memory.
Carlos is survived by his wife, Terri; children, Belinda McClure and Richard, Bill Moore and Jane; grandchildren, Jennifer Meyers, Trey Moore, Kris Moore; great-grandchildren, Jake, Rion and Will Conley; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Moore; brothers Jesse Doyle “Jimmy” Moore and Luther Moore.
