Carol Woodard

Service for Carol Sue Woodard, 78, of Milford, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Victor Fuchs, Bobby Huckleberry, Robert Paige, Tony Mares, Anthony Mason, and Corey Allen. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Carol Sue Woodard passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016 in Milford. She was born Feb. 19, 1938 in Cleburne to Robert Edward and Floyd Teluchia Kennedy Lindsay. She married Billy D. Woodard in 1968 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death in March of 2000.
Mrs. Woodard worked as a legal secretary for Lummus-Hallman, Pritchard, and Baker Law Firm, retiring with 55 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Moore of Milford; grandchildren, Kimberly Bassett and husband Brandon of Florida, Robert Steven Adolph and wife Mechele of Austin, and Lindsay Huckleberry and husband Bobby of Arlington; brother , Kenneth Lindsay of Garland; aunt, Mary Barnett of Austin; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Ruth Allen.
