Carolyn Adams

Graveside service for Carolyn Adams, 94, of Fort Worth will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 3, 2013 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. The Reverend John Glover will officiate.

Carolyn Adams passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 in Fort Worth. She was born March 28, 1919 in Cleburne to William Arthur and Ona Pogue Adams.

Miss Adams was a former longtime Cleburne resident before moving to Fort Worth in 1951. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Tarrant County Baptist Association from 1953-1959 and then for the Baptist General Convention of Texas from 1960-1978, retiring with 18 years of service. She was a member of University Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

Survivors include her niece, Elizabeth Leone of Euless; nephews, Robert Leone and Larry Leone; and several great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.A. And Ona Adams; brother, J. G. Adams and his wife, Elizabeth; sister, Ruth Adams Belcher and her husband, Robert F.; nephew, Andrew Leone and her adored pet, Suzie.
