Carolyn Owens

Graveside service for Carolyn Owens, 65, of Keene will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Pastor Paul Calaway will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Carolyn Owens passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 in Keene. She was born September 1, 1950 in Longview to Benjamin Franklin and Retha Carolyn Smith Gillentine. She married James Owens on July 3, 1976 in Longview and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2004.
Mrs. Owens was a seamstress and had previously worked at Walls Industries for more than 15 years. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Sherry Baskin and husband Bob of Ft. Worth; niece, Shelly Neher and husband Adam of Cleburne; nephew, Tim McCoy and Emily of Lake Worth; great nieces, Madyson and Kennedy; great nephew, Preston; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
