Memorial service for Carolyn Bassham Wardlaw, 71, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 31, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.
Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate.
Carolyn Bassham Wardlaw passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born July 26, 1943 in Daytona Beach, FL to Raymond and Marjorie Jean Kelly Bassham.
Ms. Wardlaw worked as an executive secretary, retiring from Lockheed Martin and as a buyer for the family business, Bassham Foods. She loved her family and all animals, especially her dog “Gracie”. She was a gourmet cook and was of the Methodist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Kelly Bransom and husband Robby of Cleburne, Mark Thompson and wife Ladonna of Lago Vista and Chad Thompson and wife Misty of Burleson; grandchildren, Bradley, India, Justin, Brazos, Savhanna, Macy, and Journey; siblings, Connie Kockler and husband Bobby of Franklin, PA and Nancy Grover and husband, Rodney Day of Deer Park; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father.
