Service for Carolyn Kaye Winkler, 61, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Monday, November 1, 2021, at the Open Door Church in Burleson. Burial will follow in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the funeral home.
Carolyn passed away October 21, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born January 24, 1960, in Borger. Carolyn worked in the IT department of Strato Flex Company. She was a sweet soul. She exceeded in roles as a mother, grandmother, and even great-grandmother. Carolyn took enjoyment in studying her bible reading Spanish literature. She was vibrant and always smiling. She wanted this time to be an opportunity for friends and family to gather and celebrate the wonderful years she shared with us all. Her spark will be missed by many, but not forgotten.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Joe Winsett and significant other Misty Adams of Joshua, Spicy Hughes and husband Jacob of Godley, Maxton Winkler and significant other Ashley Bell of Odessa; father, Larry Speegle and wife Patricia of Buffalo Gap; grandchildren, Justin, Alyssa, Joseph, Gus, Tyler, Bradley, Kaylee, Alexus, Desmond; great-granddaughter Addison; sisters, Vicki Hewitt and husband Steve of Orlando, Texas, Angel Speegle of Orlando, Texas.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother, Ina Speegle and previous husband Gary Winsett.
