Cereta Vaughn

Services for Cereta Pearl Vaughn, 84, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Pinyon will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Maldonado, Justin Vaughn, Paul Trotter, Cecil Lackey, Roger Trotter and Bruce Haney.

Cereta Pearl Vaughn passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in Rio Vista. She was born March 16, 1922 in Cleburne to Luther and Matilda Simmons Robinson. She married Floyd Vaughn .
Mrs. Vaughn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Cereta P. Vaughn is survived by her son Lonnie Vaughn of Rio Vista; two daughters, Doris Stevens of Arlington and Brenda Cortez and husband Jesse of Rio Vista; two brothers, J.D. Robinson of Commanche, TX and Arnold Robinson and wife Jean of Mansfield; sister, Geneva Robinson of Royce City, TX; nine grandchildren, Lonnie II, Timothy, Thomas, Justin and Joshua Vaughn; Raydene Stevens, Eugene Shelton, Crystal Johnson, and Tiffany Cortez; nine great-grandchildren that include: Christopher Vaughn, Christopher and Chad Millsap, Shayla Matelski, Ashley, K'lee Shelton, Amanda Skylar, Benjamin Johnson; two great great-grandchildren that include: Dakota Matelski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; son, Floyd Wayne; three brothers, Allen, William and Lavon Robinson; sister, Leta Trotter.
