Charles Bogart passed away Monday, September 14 in Godley. He was born December 9, 1946 in Smithville, Texas to Thomas and Elva (Crouch) Bogart. He married Pauline Sanders on June 5, 1965 in Fort Worth. Charles was a roofer/contractor and attended the First Baptist Church of Godley.

Dusty was a kind and loving man whose world revolved around his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids who knew him as “Papa”. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He really enjoyed taking his family (kids, grandkids and great grandkids) with him and watching the excitement on their faces when they caught their first fish or tagged their first animal while hunting.
He loved watching his grandkids at their sporting events as he was their biggest fan. He would help anyone and was always willing to give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Charles had a heart of gold.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Bogart of Godley; daughters, Paula Singleton and husband Jimmy of Godley, and Tammy Hickey and husband Brent of Godley; sister, Berniece Watkins of Sherman; brother Danny Bogart and wife Patricia of Joshua; grandchildren, Michelle Manning, Casey Singleton, Blake Hickey, Brooke Hickey; great-grandchildren, Maesey and Coy Singleton, Meredith and Madison Manning and numerous other extended family members and friends.
