Mr. Chambless passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2006 in Cleburne. He was born June 21, 1927 in Cleburne to Henry L. and Emma D. Baker Chambless.
Mr. Chambless was a time keeper for Santa Fe Railroad and a veteran of the Merchant Marines serving during WWII. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church and the Cleburne Elks Club.
Charles M. Chambless is survived by two sons, Steve Chambless of Cleburne and Ronnie Chambless and wife Debbie of Cleburne; two grandchildren, Monica Wood and husband Jeremy of Burleson and Michael Chambless of Dallas.
