Charles Davis

Mr. Davis passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005 in Cleburne, Tx. He was born May 24, 1946 in Freestone County, Texas, to Ezekiel and Pauline Davis Allen.

Mr. Davis was employed by Bill Jackson Motor Company as a mechanic for 17 years. He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Cleburne and was a member of Greater Salter Chapel A.M.E.

Charles E. Davis is survived by his mother, Pauline Allen of Cleburne; two daughters, Annie Blevins and husband, Bertram and Glenda Frank and husband Les, all of Fort Worth; one son, Arthur Jarmon and wife, Yolanda of Cleburne; three brothers, Henry Allen of Dallas, Lonnie Allen of Mexia, and Robert Allen of Cleburne; six sisters, Darlene McGill and husband Johnny of Cleburne, Earlene Argo and husband Raymond of Georgia, Carla Clay of Austin, Doris Parker and husband Andrew of Dallas, Mary Jefferson and husband Sidney of Dallas, and Alveria Adams of Dallas; one aunt, Samelia Quigley of Cleburne; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Ezekiel, and brother, Clarence Allen.
