Charles Joseph Durgin, 69, of Cleburne, passed away September 16, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born August 2, 1952 in Norwich, Connecticut. He married Trealy Anita Burns on September 9, 1995 in Cleburne. He was a mechanic for Roger’s Lube Service for 34 years and created many lasting relationships along the way. Charles enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and had a great passion for the Native American culture. Charles was the greatest husband, father and pawpaw.
Charles is survived by his wife Trealy Anita Burns Durgin of Cleburne; children, Dwayne Rusk of Whitney, Charles Coggeshall of Fort Worth, Catherean Coggeshall of Fort Worth, Chris Rusk of Cleburne, Trealy Curtis of Fort Worth, Charles R. Durgin Jr. of Cleburne, Geraldo Varela of Alvarado; grandchildren, Devin, Tyler, Christopher, Domonic, Kitai, Corbynn, Lovela, Skyler, Charles III, Sirena, Coraline, Emily, Axel; siblings, Irene, Lewis, Mary, Freda, Nicole and Katana.
Charles is preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Durgin and his parents.
