Charles Gregory

Graveside services for Charles William "C.W." Gregory, 78, of Burleson, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 in Greenacres Memorial Park. The Rev. Kenneth Coleman will officiate.

"C.W." Gregory passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born November 19, 1929 in Johnson County, TX to Elmer Price and Ethel Fay Jackson Gregory.

Mr. Gregory was valedictorian of Joshua High School. He was a banker at Bank of Commerce in Ft. Worth, where he retired. He also served in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict with honors. He was of the Christian faith.

Charles "C.W." Gregory is survived by his sister, Dorthy Fay Owens of Burleson, TX; two nieces, Joyce Jackson and husband, Gene of Joshua and Jinnette Jones and husband, J.R. of Grandview; great-niece, Caryn Scarbrough and husband, Randy of Grandview; great-nephews, Mark Thornton and wife, Shannon of Frisco and Kyle Thornton and wife Gina of Conifer, CO; great-great-nieces, McKenzie and Bailey Scarbrough and great-great-nephew, Davis Scarbrough. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Alvin Earle Wright and two brothers-in-law, Jude Owens and John T. Wright, Jr.
