Charles Lee

Services for Charles Rhea Lee, 79, of Haltom City, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Mr. Mike Shockey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Joe Lutteringer, Edgar Jimenez, Joe Ray, George Fitch, Theodore Lee, and Dan Martin.

Charles passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, in Haltom City. He was born January 24, 1944 in Cleburne to Barnie L. and Iona (Byars) Lee. Charles was a member of Glenview Baptist Church in Haltom City since 1974. At his time at Glenview, he was a fellow soldier for God as being a volunteer receptionist, also serving in the bus ministry and nursing home ministry. Serving the Lord and his family was his passion. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Caroline Lee of Arlington, and Rosemary Lee of Godley; nieces, Susie Steward of Rowlett, Janna Richardson and husband, Randy of Granbury, Martha Dorman of Haltom City, Tetter Lee Jones of Whitesboro; nephews, Billy Lee and wife, Janice of Chesapeake, VA, JW Hancock of Fort Worth, and Theodore Lee and wife, Ily of Arlington; numerous great nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bill Lee, Patsy Thetford, Leon Lee, Margie Hancock, and Don Lee; nephew, Barney Lee; nieces, Shannon Thetford, Janice Thetford, and Sherry Hancock.
