Charles Osborne

Charles Joe Osborne, Jr. passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born January 3, 1928 in Bosque County, Texas to Charles Joe and Frances Wall Osborne, Sr. He married Scherrie Lonnel Parker August 12, 1948 in McKinney, Texas.
Mr. Osborne was a locomotive engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 42 years, and a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Cleburne Masonic Lodge # 315.
Joe Osborne is survived by his wife, Scherrie Osborne, of Cleburne; sons, John Osborne and wife, Sonja and Charles Osborne and wife Nancy, both of Cleburne; daughters, Scherrie Beddingfield, of Benbrook and Rachel Boles and husband, Ronny, of Waco; brother, Howard Osborne and wife Judy, of Castro Valley, California; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Walden.
