Services for Charles F. Rogers, 69, of Houston, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Joe Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Charles F. Rogers passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Houston, TX. He was born October 19, 1937 in Godley, TX to Foley Clifford and Gladys Velvet Thomas Rogers. He married Carol Kaye Hamilton on June 16, 1972 in Itasca.
Mr. Rogers served in the US Army and was a car inspector for Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 26 years of service. He was a member of Cleburne Masonic Lodge #315 and Central Methodist Church in Fort Worth.
Charles F. Rogers is survived by his wife, Carol Rogers of Houston; daughters, Bonnie Rogers of Houston and Sammie Sheppard of Aledo; five grandchildren; brother, Finis Rogers of Ft. Worth; sister, Bonnie Irvin of DeLeon and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m.
