Charles Sherman

Charles Mack Sherman, Sr., Master Chief (USN/RET.), 78, of Millington, TN passed away at home on Monday, December 2, 2013. He was born in Haslett, TX on July 21, 1935. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1986 after 30 years of service.
Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Billie Lou Sherman; children, Charles Sherman Jr. and wife, Lynne of Spring, TX, Keith Sherman and wife, Phyllis of Memphis, TN, Kay Sherman Obenchain and husband, David of Millington, TN and Paul Sherman and wife, Michelle of Millington, TN; one brother and two sisters. Charles is remembered as a wonderful grandfather by his 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Sunday (Dec 8) at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home in Cleburne, TX. A graveside service with full military honors will be held 1:00 pm Monday at Godley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
