Charles Smith

Services for Charles A. Smith, 66, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clinton Long, John Long, Sr., Eric Godfrey, David Sitler, Steven Gossett and Kevin Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Hugh, Brandon, James and Bowen McIntyre, Kyle, Kole and Joshua Smith, T.J. Resendez and Timmy Gossett.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

Charles A. Smith passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 13, 1942 in Cleburne to Charles Andrew and Jessie Belle Wilson Smith.

Mr. Smith retired from Johns Manville and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Charles Smith is survived by his wife, Christine Smith of Cleburne; mother, Jessie Belle Smith of Rainbow; son, Troy Smith and wife, Carrie of Rainbow; four daughters, Misti Factor and husband, Bud of Granbury, Kim Resendez of Stephenville, Sandra Long and husband, Clinton of Cleburne and Debbie Long of Cleburne; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Byrd and husband, Robert of Midlothian and one brother, Kenneth Smith and wife, Kathy of Cleburne. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Andrew Smith and one brother, James Kevin Smith.
