Charles Stoker

Charles A. Stoker Jr., 85, of Grandview passed away February 27, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born November 9, 1935 in Fort Worth to Charles A, Sr. and Lois Mittie (Ingle) Stoker. He married Betty Joyce Eaton on March 2, 1956 in Cleburne. Charles was Vice President of Operations for Western Transfer Trucking before retiring and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grandview.

Charles is survived by his wife Betty Stoker of Grandview; daughters, Kimberly Slowiak and Joe of Alvarado, Kathy Dooley and Roy of Weatherford, Kristina Hess of Cleburne, Karen Wynne and Ricky of Rio Vista; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Nettie Baker of Skidmore; brother Joe Stoker of Midland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lois Stoker and brother, Walter Day.

Inurnment service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Grandview Cemetery.
