Services for Charles Daniel "Danny" Turner, 71, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Rev. Charles Payne officiating. Burial will be in George's Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dean Mosley, Bobby Beene, Ted Blixt, Lloyd Belzner, Jimmy Stanley and Jerry Brown.

Mr. Turner passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born June 23, 1936 to William Henry and Susan Emeline Daniels Turner. He married Diane Penn February 19, 1974, in Waxahachie, Texas.
Mr. Turner, was a retired switchman for the Santa Fe Railroad, retiring after 37 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Cleburne Elks Lodge #811 where he served as exaulted Ruler for seven years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Charles "Danny" Turner is survived by his wife, Diane Turner; sons, Chuck Turner and wife, Kelly, Ronnie Turner and wife, Twana, all of Cleburne and Kent Beam, of Newport News, Virginia; daughter, Sherry Robinson, of Cleburne; five grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-grandaughter; sisters, Bethany Garrison and husband, Jay, of Richland, Oregon, Betty Burns, of Euless, Texas and June Masterson, of Granbury, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Billie Farrington.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 p.m.
