Charles Vaughan

Services for Charles W. Vaughan, 62, of Hillsboro, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. B.B. Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Charles W. Vaughan passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Hillsboro. He was born November 23, 1944 in Cleburne to Charlie Hilton and Rosa Irene Winkler Vaughan. He married Mary Kitchens on January 8, 1993 in Cleburne.

Mr. Vaughan retired from Santa Fe Railroad as a boilermaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Charles W. Vaughan is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine Vaughan of Hillsboro; sons, Donald Vaughan and wife Melanie of Nacagodoches, TX, Charles W. Vaughan and wife Megan of Godley and Matthew Vaughan of Cleburne; daughter, Darla Adams and husband Andy of Nacogdoches; mother, Rosa Irene Vaughan of Cleburne; sisters, Betty Hall and Lena Lain both of Cleburne; 4 step-children; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Vaughan and son, James Hilton Vaughan.
