Service for Charles Buster "Baby Boy" Washington, 74, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the Emmanuel Temple Outreach Ministries Church. The Reverend John Warren will officiate. Pallbearers will be DeMarcus McGruder, Johnny Shipman, Arthur Jarman, Robert Jones, James Jones, Keith Taylor, James Leake.
Honorary Pallbeareres, Louis V. Washington, Tommye Lee Washington, LaSalle Washington, Larry Washington, Duke Thomas, Charles B. Washington,Jr., Newman V. Washington, Paul Sandifer, William Powell, Joffe Kemp.
Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery in Milford. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Washington passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Hill County. He was born May 26, 1938 in Milford to Louis Venson and Angie Lee Washington. He married Bobbie Brenell Hafford on April 25, 2000. He was a concrete finisher and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Washington of Cleburne; two sons, Charles Buster Washington, Jr. and wife, Michelle of DeSoto and Newman Washington and wife, Bonnie of Dallas; three daughters, Annette Perkins and husband Harold of Waco, Karen Powell and husband, William of Milford and Stephanie Kemp and husband, Joffe of Killeen; five step children, James Jones and wife Debra of Grand Prairie, Robert Jones and wife, Michelle of Saginaw, Julie Taylor and husband, Keith of Keene, and Washondria Lester and Nyla McCullough, both of Waco; four sisters, Erma Carson and Gladys Anthony, both of Dallas, Raye Hepsdeth and husband, James of Austin and Joyce Jordan and husband, Louis of Houston; four brothers, Louis Washington, Jr. and wife, Jeanette of Rockwall, Tommye Lee Washington of Ft. Worth, LaSalle Washington, Sr. and wife Elizabeth of Dallas, and Larry Washington, Sr. and wife Jo Ann of DeSoto; 24 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Angie Washington; two brothers, Willie Washington and Bruce Washington; son, Demond Washington and a stepdaughter, Anita Morgan.
