Services for Cheryl Key Henson, 70, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Brian McClure will officiate. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Hunter Hogan, Kyler Hogan, Steve Hogan, and Adrian Scholefield.
Cheryl Key Henson passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Burleson. She was born on November 15, 1950 in Cleburne, Texas to Estelline (Titus) Forsyth. She married Jimmy D. Henson on July 4, 1970 in Cleburne. Cheryl was a proud and loving wife to Jimmy, a dedicated mom to De’Ana and Janie, the best Nana to Hunter and Kyler, and a friend to many. She was a stay at home mom for many years, was actively involved in her family and daughter’s lives, and later went on to work at Sarah’s Sample Shop and the National Yellow Page Service. She brought so much happiness to so many people with her spunk and smile. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Henson of Cleburne; two daughters, De’Ana Hogan of Frisco and Janie Scholefield, wife of Adrian Scholefield, of Burleson; two grandsons, Hunter Hogan and wife, Bekah of Frisco, and Kyler Hogan of Denton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Estelline Forsyth and sister, Alice Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
