Chun Ling, who reached the age of 77 and resided in Farmers Branch,
Texas, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in
Dallas, surrounded by her beloved family and friends. Her life's
journey began in China on August 27, 1946, as per the Chinese lunar
calendar, born to Gongbo Ling and Zhongming Chen.
A graveside service in her honor is scheduled for Saturday, September
9, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
Despite enduring unfathomable hardships due to civil war and communist
persecution during her early years, she exhibited unwavering
resilience and strength. Chun’s life took a significant turn when she
married Deshi Zeng in the 1960s. Together, they labored tirelessly to
forge a brighter future for their family. Chun was a loving and gentle
lady of remarkable strength, deeply rooted in tradition, and steadfast
in character. Her faith was a harmonious blend of Dao/Buddhist beliefs
enriched by Christian teachings. She held dear values such as hard
work and honesty, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her family.
Becoming a wife, mother, and grandmother filled her heart with immense
joy and pride. Chun found happiness in her passion for traveling,
gardening, cooking, and exploring new sights.
While Chun spent most of her life in China, she also held permanent
residency in the United States. Remarkably, she battled and triumphed
over cancer three times, a testament to her indomitable spirit. Her
ability to conquer adversity and find the beauty in life's challenges
reflected her exceptional character.
The invaluable lessons and enduring qualities she imparted to her
children and grandchildren will shape generations to come. Chun leaves
behind treasured memories and a lasting legacy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Deshi Zeng.
Chun is survived by her sons, Duo Zeng and his wife, XiaoJing Niu, Wen
Zeng and his wife, QinLi Zhao, and Oi Zeng and his wife, HaiYan Wang;
her daughter, Ling Zeng, and her husband, YingKui Shen; six
grandchildren, ChuiQin Zeng, You Zeng, XiWen Zeng, Zheng Zeng, YiJie
Zeng, and Hanven Shen; as well as several extended family members and
cherished friends.
