Cindy Williams, 59, of Rio Vista, TX, gained her wings on September 16, 2020. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a love for her family that couldn’t be matched. Cindy loved her husband, son and grandchildren with everything she had. Her smile and laughter would light up a room. She never met a stranger and was always willing to give to those in need.
There are a few things Cindy loved just as much as her family. The first of those being Christmas! Anyone that got to meet or know Cindy knew that Christmas was a holiday not missed in the Williams house. She loved exactly what Christmas stood for, Jesus! She was a true woman of God with a faith that was hard to beat. Her second love was football! Go Cowboys! You could always find her in a Cowboy jersey or as she would call it “her Sunday best”. Her third and final love was Bingo! Oh my, you couldn’t keep her away from the Bingo hall!
Cindy was a member of the American Legion Post #648 and served as Vice President of the Women Auxiliary for a number of years. Upon the closure of Post #648 she continued to be a valued member at Cleburne Post # 50. She will be truly missed by everyone that knew her. May she forever rest in peace.
