Clara Moore

Mrs. Moore passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 in Keene. She was born October 9, 1910 in Joshua to Allen and Ninnie Bransom Beene. She married James T. Moore in 1929 and they were married over 60 years.

Mrs. Moore worked for T.W. Scott & Sons for 17 years. Mr. and Mrs. Moore then obtained a grocery store known as Moore's Grocery and operated it for 8 years at the corner of Main and Poindexter until their retirement. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Mr. Gus'. She was also an accomplished musician who played piano and violin and loved gospel music.

Clara Beene Moore is survived by grandson, Robert L. Setser of Cleburne; granddaughter, Susan Gayle Lambert and her husband, Robert of Flower Mound; brother Glenn Beene and wife Erma of Cleburne; great-granddaughter, Lacey Lambert; great-grandson, Cody Lambert and several nieces and nephews.
