Claudia Chesnut

Service for Claudia Mae Dietrich Chesnut, 80, of Joshua will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Brother Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday.

Claudia Chesnut passed away Monday, April 29 in Cleburne. She was born June 25, 1938 in Cleburne, Texas to Edgar and Bulah Mae (Mason) Dietrich. She married James William Chesnut on December 11, 1959 in Cleburne. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2003. Mrs. Chesnut was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Joshua.

There was nothing she loved more than her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include sons; James Michael Chesnut of Marble Falls, Texas and Robert David Chesnut and wife Lori of Virginia Beach, Virginia, daughter-in-law; Sasha Chesnut of Grand Prairie, Texas, grandchildren; Chad Michael Chesnut, Hollyanne Lorraine Chesnut, Ty Waterman Chesnut and Justin David Chesnut, brother-in-law; Wendell Dempsey of Cleburne, niece; Theresa Wright of Joshua, Texas, and many other friends and family members who will miss her.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law June Dempsey. She walks again with James, hand-in-hand.
